Mechanical Engineer
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of systems that involve the integration of mechanical components.

Designs and integrates mechanical concepts for new and existing products, ensuring compliance with specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborates in cross-functional teams to develop new products and improve existing designs.
Creates and documents designs using Ceres or customer design processes and CAD systems; develops work breakdowns and project plans.
Maintains high quality through self-reviews, peer design reviews, and participation in cross-functional reviews.
Prepares presentations and technical documentation for engineering and customer design reviews.
Partners with other functions to define test requirements and build documentation to verify product quality and functionality.
Supports manufacturing during first article builds, integration, and standard production troubleshooting.
Identifies design and product risks and leads mitigation through prototype testing and corrective actions.
Participates in quality processes including DFMEA, PFMEA, and 8D, and actively supports continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinates cross-functional efforts to support business needs; maintains professional customer interactions, participates in meetings, and performs other assigned duties.
