* Basic Qualifications:

*
* - Bachelor's degree in a related STEM degree

- Minimum 5 years' relevant engineering experience

- Experience with FPGA, ASIC and/or firmware

- Ability to obtain and maintain a U S  DoD security clearance at the SECRET level  U S  Citizenship is required

** Desired

Skills:

* - Advanced STEM related degree

- Digital and analog circuit design principles including analysis, simulation & testing

- Microcontrollers, embedded systems & programming languages, i e  C, C   and Assembly

- Scripting languages, i e  Python, Perl

- PCB design and layout tools, i e  Altium, Cadence, and Eagle

- FPGA and ASIC design principles including RTL design, VHDL, Verilog & digital logic design

- EMC principles & practices, including shielding, grounding & filtering

- Vitis HLS and other FPGA development tools, including Vivado and Quartus

- Digital signal processing  DSP  algorithms on FPGAs

- Understanding of digital system design principles

- Knowledge of communication protocols and interfaces, including PCIe, AXI, and SPI

- Firmware development tools, i e  compilers & assemblers, debuggers & emulators, version control systems  Git, SVN

- Active Secret Security Clearance
