We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the summer of 2024. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Serve with a team of engineers to develop digital product solutions for transport refrigeration systems.
- Review product and design requirements from cross-functional team feedback.
- Support verification and validation of supplier product deliveries in a lab environment.
- Design, conduct, and document end-to-end testing to verify product design against requirements.
- Present technical findings and test results to project team members.
- Collaborate with service to define field tests in support of product releases.
- Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field
- 3.0 or higher GPA
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- Relevant coursework or previous internships are preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Proactive and results-driven; thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Experience or interest in thermodynamics and software development principles.
- Demonstrated hands-on technical skills in an engineering discipline, including electronics and mechatronics
- Classroom or teamwork experience with transport refrigeration and wireless communication (IoT) products is preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven and proactive
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
