In the role of Senior Highway/Civil/Utility Engineer, you will lead technical design and oversight of urban roadway projects, perform quality assurance on interstate and state highway systems, serve as a subject‑matter expert, provide project management support, interact with clients, supervise staff, and complete additional duties as needed.

• Serve in the lead technical role in the detailed development of urban roadway design projects
• Perform quality assurance checks on major transportation projects on interstate and state highway systems
• Serve as a technical expert with recognized authority in an area of specialization that resolves problems of greater scope and complexity
• Assume some project management duties and interact with clients as needed
• Supervise work of medium to large staff of professionals and technicians as needed
• Perform other duties as needed

• MSCE
• Experience with Micro Station, InRoads, Microsoft Office applications
• Preference given to candidates currently residing in the NY Metropolitan Area

• A minimum of 10 years experience in all aspects of roadway engineering design
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng))
• Demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills and ability to work with various teams
• Experience should include urban and rural highway interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, concept alignment preparation, geometrical layout and CAD base alignment plans
• Coordinating survey, grading, drainage and utilities and layout of various site items is a plus
