The mission of the Environmental Safety Engineer (ISE) is to assist the units assigned to them in the fields of health and safety of persons and to ensure the implementation of ASNR rules in the field of HSE. The ISEs have the following missions:

• Enforce the HSE benchmarks established by the SMR and the SAS;
• Update the unique document and business databases;
• Conduct risk analyses in conjunction with the units and external companies (write prevention plans, joint inspections, fire permits and ensure their follow-up) if applicable;
• Establish procedures and specific guidelines for the facilities under your charge, propose and develop appropriate prevention measures;
• Assist operational units in solving problems within their area of expertise;
• Identify the HSE work needs of the units, in preparation for internal steering committees and contribute to their instruction;
• Accompany the units in the follow-up of HSE action plans;
• Lead the analysis of accidents and incidents that have occurred on the sites within their scope and ensure the operational processing of events of an incidental or accidental nature;
• Organize and conduct regulatory evacuation exercises and their follow-up;
• Promote the HSE culture, in particular by organizing training and awareness-raising actions within the units of the site;
• Participate in the annual control program visits and assist the units during these visits;
• Conduct or supervise regulatory HSE checks and ensure their follow-up;
• Contribute to the management of events of an incidental or accidental nature affecting an activity or unit, in accordance with the Note on the Organization of Incident Situations within the ASNR;
• Ensure environmental monitoring of the site (waste, effluents, etc.);
• Advise and provide technical support to the CLE cell in matters of hygiene, safety and environmental protection;
• Contribute to the preparation of the annual report for the prevention advisor in the field of HSE.

The Environmental Safety Engineer participates in working groups and conducts studies and synthesis work on cross-cutting areas in HSE on behalf of the service or the department.

• Engineering degree or equivalent in the field of safety;

• Good knowledge of HSE regulations;

• Responsive, autonomous, rigorous, organized and showing initiative;

• Analytical and synthesis skills and good relational dynamics;

• Quickly adapt to new work environments and demonstrate a proven sense of the collective.
