Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related STEM degree
• Minimum 5 years' relevant engineering experience
• Experience with FPGA, ASIC and/or firmware
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship is required. Desired
Skills:
• Advanced STEM related degree
• Digital and analog circuit design principles including analysis, simulation & testing
• Microcontrollers, embedded systems & programming languages, i.e. C, C++ and Assembly
• Scripting languages, i.e. Python, Perl
• PCB design and layout tools, i.e. Altium, Cadence, and Eagle
• FPGA and ASIC design principles including RTL design, VHDL, Verilog & digital logic design
• EMC principles & practices, including shielding, grounding & filtering
• Vitis HLS and other FPGA development tools, including Vivado and Quartus
• Digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms on FPGAs
• Understanding of digital system design principles
• Knowledge of communication protocols and interfaces, including PCIe, AXI, and SPI
• Firmware development tools, i.e. compilers & assemblers, debuggers & emulators, version control systems (Git, SVN)

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
