Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Operations Manager, Energy Management/ Efficiency
NPower Solutions is seeking an experienced Mechanical Planner to support Constellation Energy at the Ginna Clean Energy Center in Ontario, New York. This long-term assignment with the potential for hybrid work, will focus on planning mechanical work orders in support of the station's Subsequent License Renewal (SLR) program.

July 1, 2026 - End Date:
June 30, 2028 - Part-time assignment (up to 40 hours per week, as workload requires)
- Monday – Friday
- Standard hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Four 10‑hour days with one remote day, or
- Five 8‑hour days with up to two remote days
- Develop and prepare detailed mechanical work packages and work orders.
- Plan maintenance activities supporting the Subsequent License Renewal program.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and Work Management to ensure work packages are complete and executable.
- Identify required materials, procedures, labor resources, and sequencing.
- Support outage and online maintenance planning activities as assigned.
- Maintain planning documentation within Asset Suite 9 (AS9).
This position is primarily office‑based with occasional work in an industrial nuclear power plant environment. Duties require prolonged periods of sitting, frequent computer use, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members. The selected candidate must be able to walk through plant facilities, climb stairs, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. All work must be performed in accordance with applicable safety, security, and radiological protection requirements.

- Experience as a Mechanical Planner in a commercial nuclear power plant.
- 10 (+) years of related experience in Operations, Maintenance or Projects.
- Level 200 Qualifications.
- Strong proficiency with Asset Suite 9 (AS9).
- Knowledge of nuclear maintenance planning processes and work management.
- Experience supporting license renewal or large capital projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with R.E. Ginna Clean Energy Centeris preferred.
