We’re Hiring:
Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, P.E. (Full-Time)
NY Building Systems Consultant Inc. (NYBSC) is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) with a forward-thinking mindset and a passion for delivering high-performance engineering solutions.
We’re looking for a motivated leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to innovation, quality, and exceeding client expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead MEP/electrical engineering design from concept through construction
- Perform detailed engineering calculations, analysis, and system modeling
- Prepare, review, and stamp technical drawings and documents
- Ensure compliance with NYCECC, ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, and other applicable codes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful projects
- Support proposals, construction, and commissioning activities
- Maintain high standards of quality assurance and control
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (Mechanical or Electrical)
- 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and grid interconnection
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or BIM
- Familiarity with ASHRAE, NYCECC, NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and NERC standards
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience in MEP and energy-related projects preferred
- Passion for energy auditing and commissioning
