ABB is a supplier of solutions for increased productivity and energy efficiency. ABB Industrial Automation provides safety and automation systems, IT-solutions, drives and electrical systems, telecommunication systems and instrumentation to onshore and offshore installations. We deliver solutions to a wide variety of industries e.g. aluminium, cement, chemical, food and beverage, life sciences, metal, mining, energy, power generation and pulp & paper.
ABB's Industrial Automation-operations in Norway are located in Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, Hammerfest and Stord.
In ABB Bergen we currently support several fixed installations in the North Sea with our products and services. The work is project based where a project can last from 1 week and up to several years. We are now looking for a senior engineer with leadership skills for our automation team in Bergen.
Your Responsibilities- Technical lead for large projects / service project portfolio
- Follow up planned activities with planner, project manager and leads for each discipline
- Contribute to improving procedures and work processes in the project
- Coordinate and delegate tasks between the engineers in the project
- Support sales with technical input and estimation
- Ability to lead, work in teams and manage through others
- Basic understanding of project economics
- Good communication skills
- Minimum 10 years of experience from automation projects
- Minimum 5 years of experience as technical lead in projects
- You like working in teams with others and to share your knowledge
- English fluent, oral, and written. Norwegian is an advantage
- Experience with Advant technology
