Job DetailsElectrical Design Engineer/Project Manager - Hybrid
Successful candidates will have experience in Electrical Systems Design with experience leading electrical design teams on several concurrent projects, with 2-4+ years of experience as Project Manager within an Engineering Consulting or Design/Build Firm. This individual will be a leader with the ability to assist the Principal in managing and guiding the Electrical Group.
Qualifications- 6-10+ years’ experience in electrical design of complex buildings is required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
- PE License Desired.
- Extensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting, and signal design, including life safety systems and energy monitoring systems.
- Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm required.
- Proficient in Revit with strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, and electrical design software.
- Primary responsibilities include electrical systems design for several concurrent projects.
- Coordinating the work of Electrical Engineers with the balance of a multi-disciplined team throughout a project's development and construction.
- Coordinating workload to complete documents on schedule.
- Tracking the financial aspects of projects, coordinating, and adjusting the work effort with the team to ensure that the work is completed within budget.
- Conducting schematic, design development and contract document working sessions with clients.
