MissionsDescription of the position
Report to the Director of QSSE, your mission is to verify the conformity of raw materials and manufactured products throughout the process (workshop and site). You ensure compliance with technical, contractual and regulatory requirements to prevent any failure or non-compliance.
You carry out non-destructive tests, measurements and tests on materials and parts without altering them.
Main activities
- Analyze the quality of products/equipment according to applicable regulations and requirements
- Perform NDT/NDT operations (visual, ressuage, dimensional…)
- Analyze and interpret the results of controls and tests
- Prepare control reports (PV) and determine the conformity of parts
- Identify non-conformities and alert the concerned teams
- Collaborate with technical teams to address deviations
- Participate in the development of control plans
- Participate in customer inspections (checkpoints / summons)
- Verify and calibrate measuring instruments
- Contribute to continuous process improvement
Responsibilities
- Ensure product conformity to normative, regulatory and customer requirements
- Follow the defined control plans and internal procedures
- Report results to Quality Manager / Quality Engineer and production
- Request technical teams in case of anomaly
Education:
CAP to Bac+3 in materials, NDT/NDT, welding, metrology, industrial maintenance, sheet metal work or equivalent
Experience:
Experienced. Minimum 5 years in a similar position
Certifications:
COFREND VT2 and PT2 ideally
Skills
- Knowledge of materials (alloys, composites) and associated processes
- Mastery of non-destructive testing techniques
- Mastery of industrial metrology methods and means
- Reading mechanical plans and functional cotation
- Notions of uncertainty calculation
- Mastery of Office Pack
