We are looking for someone with experience in road and tunnel electro and who wants to develop further and share their knowledge. Experience from rail electro is a bonus, but not a requirement. We are seeking a versatile and experienced professional who wants to contribute to our projects through work with descriptions, risk assessments, short circuit calculations, drawings, modeling, and other key deliverables. The position involves technical responsibility for electro in projects, as well as an important role in guiding and developing younger colleagues in the field.

Norconsult in Bergen has had good development and growth in recent years. We have a good order backlog and many exciting opportunities ahead. We are therefore looking for new committed employees who will help continue the good development of the electro environment in Bergen. This position is for an office location in Bergen. We currently experience high activity in several large and complex projects.

The joint project Arna–Stanghelle is one of the most central assignments and will greatly shape our daily work in the coming time. In Bergen, the electro group is organized under the department of Technical Systems, which consists of four professional groups:
Infrastructure Electricity, Building Electro, HVAC, and Fire. The electro groups have a strong and broad professional community with 24 engineers working daily with electro in buildings, industry, transportation, and high voltage. The electro group and department have a good mix of experienced and younger colleagues. At the Bergen office, there are about 280 employees and we have a solid professional environment in most market areas.

Personal qualities and desired qualifications:

• Msc or BSc (relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal competence)
• Experience in preparing descriptions, processes, and NS3420 for competitive basis
• Experience with short circuit calculations (Febdok)
• Good and relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
• Have good Norwegian skills, both written and spoken
• Good general IT skills and interest in digital tools
• Experience from project management of electrical systems for road tunnels (Rail is a bonus)
