Senior Design Lead – BIOS, Test/Interface/UC Board Design, CPU – United States (New York, New York) Job Summary

In this role, the Senior Designer will be responsible for design verification & validation, and test/interface/UC board design. The primary objectives include ensuring the verification of designs and testing, as well as developing test plans, interfaces, and UC board designs.

• Support NPD work for Electrical Engineering design support.
• Perform vendor coordination and update designs per vendor DFM feedback.
• Support prototyping, build, and testing.
• Support engineering change management.
• Participate in design reviews with the customer team.
• Perform testing per the test protocols/inputs provided by the client.
• Operate laboratory diagnostic instruments to test design changes, enhancements, and software improvements.
• Prepare test samples, run QC processes, and process test samples in a wet lab.
• Create, edit, and modify worklists and system configurations to align with test requirements.
• Modify test protocols based on guidance from test leads as required.
• Document test results, anomalies, and issues, and participate in failure reviews.
• Assist in troubleshooting, assembling, and retrofitting prototypes, and shipping/receiving parts while monitoring inventory.
• Maintain clear and thorough laboratory records.

• Electrical / Electromechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 9+ years industry experience.
• Strong working experience in design verification, test planning, interface, and UC board design, plus associated software, tools, and process workflows.

• Maximum Salary (US): $141,000
• Minimum Salary (US): $92,000
