Packaging Data & Documentation Intern
We are looking for a Packaging Data & Documentation Intern to join our technical/design office. The intern will have the opportunity to undertake a structured training path, working closely with the tutor and the team, acquiring skills in technical-mechanical design applied to packaging and in product development and industrialization processes, within a collaborative, innovation-oriented and continuous improvement environment.
During the internship, alongside the tutor and the team, you will:
- Support the application of the new packaging reference regulation (PPWR) with the preparation of documentation towards customers;
- Support the technical analysis of the packaging designs and specifications provided by Customers, for the evaluation of technical and production feasibility;
- Collaborate in the development and revision of technical drawings of packaging solutions;
- Participate in the exchange of technical feedback with internal and external customers in the different project phases;
- Contribute to the creation of internal technical documentation for suppliers and production;
- Support the preparation of on-machine documentation;
- Assist the team in the creation of material master data and material base lists through SAP management system;
- Provide technical support, always alongside, to the production plants of Termoli, Ostrava, Wuxi and Silao.
Position requirements:
- Diploma of Mechanical, Industrial, Surveyor or equivalent;
- Good knowledge of the Office package (in particular Excel) for data entry and management activities;
- Knowledge of the English language, written and spoken;
- Basic knowledge of 2D technical drawing, useful for reading and understanding technical documentation;
- Familiarity with Autodesk design software (AutoCAD, Inventor) considered a plus;
- Interest in the industrial context and in the packaging world;
- Precision, attention to detail and aptitude for managing data and documentation;
- Good organizational and teamwork skills;
- Curiosity, proactivity and willingness to learn;
- Flexibility and good communication skills.
