Product Engineer 3
A Product Engineer 3 will own and support platform product engineering of Electromechanical devices for worldwide distribution. They will manage projects for supplier production release, training and quality development, maintaining quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into finished products. Responsible for planning, implementing and managing support of manufacturing and production processes. Performs problem solving and recommendation updates or changes to quality standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Be familiar with failure analysis, process development, application flows, material issues, and system interconnects
- Coordinate with other groups and organizations for design, process, test, reliability and manufacturing to solve product issues and production problems
- Ensure suppliers' quality performance for consistent and reliable products
- Conduct design reviews with cross-functional teams (CFT) and stakeholders to coordinate development and qualification activities
- Be a lead advocate for your product across company organizations
Other Job Responsibilities
- Understand and assist with testing of electromechanical products
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree in the following fields (but not limited to)- Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering and Robotics
- Working knowledge of Statistics Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause-Corrective Action (RCCA), 8D & 5-Whys Problem solving
- Prior experience with MS office tools (ppt, excel, project)
- Previous experience in cross-functional project management
- Previous experience leading technical projects
- Comfortable with travelling
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand dimensional analysis of drawing standards
- Ability to assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards
- 5+ years applicable experience preferably in the semiconductor industry
- Individual and team contributor
- Self-starter and go getter attitude

'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
