The Industrial Automation Engineer is responsible for the modernization and the automation of our production lines dedicated to the laboratory industry and will be involved in high value-added projects aimed at improving performance, reliability, and ultimately the productivity of our production equipment.

This position reports to the Engineering Manager and is part of the Engineering & Operation group, located in Marseille, France and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Understand functional requirements and translate them into realistic and feasible proposals in line with the allocated budget
• In collaboration with our suppliers, participate in the development of automated systems for industrial production
• Commissioning and industrialization: ensure the startup of automated equipment, draft the documentation associated with each project, and carry out testing (FAT / SAT / IQ / OQ in regulated environments)
• Optimize line performance in terms of throughput, quality, and reliability
• Continuous improvement: analyze breakdowns, identify root causes, and propose improvement solutions

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Engineering degree (Master's level / Bac+5) in automation and industrial computing, or equivalent
• Experience (3+ years) in industrial automation

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience in a laboratory, pharmaceutical, or food industry environment
