Principal Engineer, Geostructural - Mi-Tech Services, Inc.

Responsibilities

A Principal Engineer is a leadership role that focuses on overseeing and driving the technical direction of projects for specific geographical regions or scopes of engineering services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading project teams to ensure success, adherence to client specifications, budgets, and timelines.
  • Managing and mentoring other engineers.
  • Driving technical direction and quality for projects within assigned region.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering, 10+ years of related experience, or equivalent.
  • Currently holding an SE license or having passed the NCEES 16‑hour structural engineering exam and eligible for an SE license via comity.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail, collaborative mindset, and ability to work on unique, specialized scopes.
Preferred
  • Active involvement in professional societies and technical committees related to the field.
