Responsibilities
- Independently lead structural design tasks for a variety of building materials including steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
- Develop and implement study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality, automated, and cost-effective work across teams.
- Perform rigorous interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables and coordinate construction issues across disciplines to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, design calculations, and construction documents using advanced structural analysis software and Revit.
- BS in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant experience specifically in the structural design of buildings and structures.
- Expertise in structural codes (ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC, IBC, etc.)
- Proficiency in ETABS, SAP
2000, RAM, Enercalc, Tekla Tedds and Excel/Mathcad. - Must be capable of performing direct drafting and making changes to Revit 3D models and 2D details.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License, or the clear ability to obtain a PE/SE within 12 months of hire.
- A commitment to high-intensity work with a focus on precision and quality control.
