Commissioning Engineer, Data Centre Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commissioning Engineer to join our team, specializing in Data Centre projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the Salt Lake City and New York regions. If you have a strong background in MEP Engineering and HVAC Design, along with hands-on experience in commissioning, we want to hear from you.
- Lead and execute commissioning activities for data centre projects, ensuring all systems are installed, tested, and functioning as designed.
- Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Conduct detailed inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive commissioning documentation, including reports, checklists, and test results.
- Identify and resolve technical issues independently, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project stakeholders throughout the commissioning process.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards at all times.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commissioning, with a focus on data centres or transferable projects such as semiconductors or pharmaceuticals.
- Strong technical ability to work independently as a commissioning engineer.
- Proven experience in MEP Engineering and HVAC Design.
- Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel as required, with a rotation schedule of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off for the New York role, and full-time availability for the Salt Lake City role.
- Perform on-site inspections and testing of MEP systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve project challenges.
- Document and report on commissioning progress, including any issues encountered and their resolutions.
- Travel to project sites as required, with expenses covered for the New York role.

- Competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $150,000, based on experience.
- Per diem of $75 per day for travel-related expenses.
