As a Aerodynamics Specialist, your mission is to lead the aerodynamic design and optimization of centrifugal compressors by applying advanced aerodynamic and thermodynamic principles, while serving as a subject matter expert to drive innovation, resolve complex performance challenges, and support the expansion of new markets and business opportunities. You will report to the Analytical Manager.
Your RoleYou will
- Aerodynamic Design & Analysis
- Lead aerodynamic design and optimization of compressor components (impellers, diffusers, volutes, guide vanes).
- Perform aerodynamic and thermodynamic calculations and advanced CFD simulations.
- Analyze compressor performance, stability, and loss mechanisms.
- Validation & Testing
- Plan and support aerodynamic performance testing, including factory and site acceptance tests.
- Correlate analytical and CFD results with test data and field performance.
- Troubleshoot aerodynamic and operational performance issues.
- Technical Leadership & Expertise
- Serve as subject matter expert in compressor aerodynamics and operation.
- Lead technical discussions with customers on performance and design.
- Mentor and support development of engineering team members.
- Documentation & Product Knowledge
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation for aerodynamic designs.
- Build deep knowledge of products, applications, and industry trends to support innovation and business growth.
- You have 10 years of experience working with aerodynamics, rotating equipment, or compressor technologies.
- You hold at least Master’s or PhD degree in Aerodynamics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis and application.
- Solid foundation in thermodynamics principles and their application to turbo machinery.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with programming languages is preferred.

- Base salary ranges from $128,000 to $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
