Engineering Technician
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to support testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic systems and circuit boards in a highly collaborative engineering and manufacturing environment. This is a growth-driven opportunity that offers exposure to new product development, advanced testing equipment, and hands-on problem-solving while working alongside engineering teams.
This role is ideal for technicians with strong electronics troubleshooting experience, board-level diagnostics skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: $30-$38/hour
Key Responsibilities- Perform in-process testing of circuit boards and electronic assemblies.
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems down to the component level.
- Write and execute test procedures for circuit boards and systems.
- Support Engineering with new product and system development initiatives.
- Load and configure software for system testing.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and wire lists.
- Utilize oscilloscopes, DVMs, and other test equipment to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Perform high-voltage testing while adhering to established safety procedures.
- Document and report recurring faults, failures, and test results.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance regarding defective components and assemblies.
- Assist with test fixture development and improvement efforts.
- Travel to customer sites as needed for inspections, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Maintain accurate testing records and documentation.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical or electronic testing.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong troubleshooting skills at the board and component level.
- Experience with:
- High-voltage testing
- PCB and electronic system troubleshooting
- Oscilloscopes and DVMs
- Electronic test equipment
- Ability to read and interpret:
- Electrical schematics
- Wiring diagrams
- Wire lists
- Working knowledge of digital electronics.
- Strong computer and documentation skills.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
- Active U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- Experience with power supplies or power conversion systems.
- Test fixture design experience.
- Manufacturing or engineering test environment experience.
- Hands-on electronics troubleshooting expertise.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated professional with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
- Detail-oriented technician who takes ownership of their work and contributes to continuous improvement efforts.
This position is based in a large engineering and manufacturing facility currently undergoing significant upgrades to enhance efficiency and capability.
