Engineering Consultant (Facilities & Compliance) – Short JD
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibiliti
- es Review and validate MEP, HVAC, boiler, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection contract specifications for compliance with NYC DOB, FDNY, SCA, NFPA, and Local Law
- s.Review RFBs to ensure scope of work and bid documents are accurat
- e.Support facility inspections, audits, and compliance review
- s.Monitor vendor performance, preventive maintenance, and SLA complianc
- e.Identify compliance risks, recommend corrective actions, and prepare compliance report
- s.Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory agencie
- s.Review vendor financial statements to assess financial stabilit
y.Required Skil
- ls5+ years of experience in facilities management, MEP systems, or building complianc
- e.Strong knowledge of HVAC, boilers, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection system
- s.Experience with NYC Building Codes, DOB, FDNY, SCA, and NFPA standard
- s.Ability to review technical specifications, engineering drawings, and maintenance contract
- s.Experience with maintenance/work order systems and compliance trackin
- g.Professional certifications such as PE, CFM, HV
AC, or equivalent are preferre - d.Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skill
