Location: New York

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, test, and improve mechanical systems and products. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet performance, quality, cost, and safety requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and equipment.
  • Create 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo).
  • Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies.
  • Develop and test prototypes; analyze test results and implement design improvements.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and project teams.
  • Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs, technical reports, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
  • Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 0–5+ years of experience (depending on the role).
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and material selection.
  • Familiarity with FEA/CFD tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with project management.
  • Knowledge of ASME/ISO standards.
  • Exposure to ERP/PLM systems.
  • Programming or automation knowledge (MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW) is a plus.
