Power / Recovery Area Manager
The Power / Recovery Area Manager will be responsible for managing the supply of steam, electricity, air and water to the Mill in a safe, efficient, and reliable manner. Requirements are:
• Promote a safe and caring culture within the power department
• Ensure environmental compliance with all regulations
• Engage and develop crew leadership
• Provide world class customer service to other departments of the Mill
• Manage the reliability of the power boiler, turbine generator, utilities, recovery boiler, evaporator, demineralizer and waste treatment systems.
• Provide guidance to the Mill to achieve minimum energy costs
• Interact effectively and cooperatively within all levels of the organization
• Manage all aspects of revenue generation including the marketing of electrical power
• Coordinate all aspects of outages (planning, execution, reliability, cost, etc.)
• Support the Project Development Process, working closely with Project Engineering and Area leaders in Power and Maintenance.
