Electrical Designer

A well-established custom automation machinery manufacturer is hiring an Electrical Panel Designer to support its growing backlog of custom equipment builds. This is a hands-on hardware design role (not a programming position) responsible for designing industrial control panels from schematic through bill of materials.

• Design industrial control panels: schematics, pneumatic design, panel layouts
• Select bill of materials for panel builds
• Apply general electrical code knowledge to designs
• Work with industrial controls components: PLCs, servo drives, VFD drives, power distribution
• Play a shaping role in the company's transition from AutoCAD to AutoCAD Electrical (fall 2026 into 2027)

• Working knowledge of PLCs, servo drives, VFD drives, and power distribution design
• Familiarity with UL standards is a plus
• AutoCAD Electrical experience is a strong plus

Pay: $55–$60/hour
