Job Description
Atlas is seeking an IH Program Manager to lead industrial hygiene and environmental health projects throughout the New York market. In this role, you will oversee complex programs involving asbestos, lead, mold, indoor air quality, and related environmental services. You will work closely with clients, project teams, and technical professionals to deliver high-quality solutions that protect people, support safe buildings, and strengthen the communities we serve.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage high-profile clients, including the School Construction Authority (SCA).
- Support the identification and development of new project opportunities and proposals by collaborating with internal teams and prospective clients; participate in meetings, industry events, and conferences.
- Coordinate internal resources, staffing needs, and workload balancing to support successful project delivery.
- Provide quality control and oversight of technical reports, RFPs, regulatory documentation, and project deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external health and safety procedures, industry standards, and project requirements.
- Participate in and coordinate monthly internal health and safety meetings.
- Monitor project performance and support budgeting, invoicing, and collections activities.
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives that support regional and business unit objectives.
You’ll thrive here if you have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience managing industrial hygiene or environmental health projects involving asbestos, lead, mold, PCB, or indoor air quality services.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing client relationships, and delivering large or high-profile programs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local environmental and industrial hygiene regulations.
