Ampace (新能安) is a leading global player in AIDC (AI data center) UPS lithium batteries, supplying safe, high-power battery solutions — including advanced semi-solid-state cell technology — to UPS OEMs, hyperscalers, and colocation providers worldwide. As AI computing drives unprecedented power demand, our battery platforms keep the world's most critical data centers running.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as the core technical liaison for UPS OEM, hyperscaler, and colocation customers, mining explicit and implicit needs — performance, reliability, compatibility, and cost — through technical exchanges.
2. Lead end-to-end pre-sales solution design — battery selection, compatibility verification, bill of materials, technical-parameter matching, and cost estimation — ensuring a tight fit with UPS systems.
3. Support customer bids with technical documentation such as product manuals and compatibility reports, and deliver product value through technical seminars and on-site demonstrations.
4. Partner with sales in customer visits and negotiations, feed customer and market needs back to R&D and production, and run internal technical reviews to manage technical and cost risk.
5. Track industry trends, competitors, and standards; build the technical knowledge base; and train sales teams and partners.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Power Electronics, Electrochemistry, or a related field.
2. Over 5 years of pre-sales solution experience in UPS batteries or energy-storage batteries; familiarity with UPS-battery adaptation principles preferred.
3. Data-center market pre-sales experience, ideally serving UPS OEM, hyperscaler, or colocation clients; led pre-sales design for three or more large UPS battery projects.
4. Deep battery expertise (lead-acid and lithium-ion) and UPS system fundamentals; solid electrical-engineering foundation and data-center power-distribution knowledge; proficiency with AutoCAD and Office.
5. Strong technical presentation and cross-cultural collaboration; fluent English; willing to travel.
6. Authorized to work in the United States.
