Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Field Inspector to play a pivotal role in ensuring environmental construction compliance on the HTP. The role involves field audits, technical reporting, oversight of construction activities, and collaboration with environmental stakeholders across NY, NJ, and NYC agencies.
- Perform field audits of environmental documentation and on‑site activities.
- Review and prepare written technical reports documenting environmental construction compliance.
- Report inconsistencies, permitting requirements, and contract specifications to the compliance team.
- Provide oversight of construction as it relates to environmental compliance.
- Interpret scientific data and specifications to support decision making.
- Support business development through bid support, client liaison, and upskilling of colleagues.
- Contribute technical expertise and promote innovation in sustainability areas such as waste, energy/carbon, water, responsible sourcing of materials, and sustainable buildings.
- Represent the company and client in public forums and internal/external events.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, or a closely related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience performing construction site inspections.
- Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Prior experience providing environmental inspections for NY, NJ and/or NYC agencies (desirable).
- Full‑time position with competitive compensation ($150,000–$170,000 annually).

Salary Type: Annual Salary
Salary Range: $150,000 – $170,000 USD
