Your Role:- Performing complex mechanical building design on a variety of projects to include, but not limited to, buildings and facilities, including hospitals, laboratories, high rise residential and high-rise office, and other commercial and institutional projects.
- Incorporating design changes using AutoCAD and/or Revit software
- Assist teams in performing design load calculations, equipment selections and mechanical system design
- Providing credit documentation for LEED, and other building rating system design and compliance
- Assisting in the preparation of basis-of-design descriptions, responses to client comments and other project-related documentation.
- Attend meetings with architects, owners and building managers.
- Reviewing submittals and providing responses to Requests for Information
- Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
- Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns. - Additional duties as required.
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3-7 years of experience in the design of HVAC systems for commercial, institutional, residential, and healthcare facilities.
- Proficient with the use of Trace 700, AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Excellent technical skills, strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Comprehensive knowledge and interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly collaborative team environment
- PE registration is highly preferred in New York, or EIT with the ability to obtain a P.E. in 1-2 years.
- LEED AP BD+C accreditation is preferred

Pay commensurate with experience.
Pay Range: $75,000 - $115,000/yr
