THE WORK Responsible for sustainment program support to include integration, comprehensive logistics, sustainment plan creation and support requirements for the lifecycle of the product.

Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. May serve as the point of contact for logistics with the customer and provide advice or training on system design and specifications. Functions as the internal design interface between support system, concepts and specifications. Performs analysis of the sustainment system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

This position will support obsolescence management within the Global Sustainment Operations Center of Excellence. Other analysis may include interface studies, timeline and requirements allocation, effectiveness, verification, cost/risk, and supportability. Job Description Responsible for sustainment program support to include integration, comprehensive logistics, sustainment plan creation and support requirements for the lifecycle of the product. Other analysis may include interface studies, timeline and requirements allocation, effectiveness, verification, cost/risk, and supportability. Basic Qualifications Generally has 1+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline. Role requires working knowledge of Naval Aviation and Maintenance Procedures Familiarity with Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortage mitigation Desired Skills Experience in Naval Helicopter Programs Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
