Today, McAllister's tugs provide a wide variety of services to the busy ports of New York and New Jersey, handling a significant part of the 16 million tons of cargo passing through the port annually.
The company offers ship docking services, harbor assist work, and offshore towing along the East Coast.
McAllister Towing of NY is seeking highly qualified Licensed Engineers.

Qualifications include:
- Valid Merchant Mariner’s Credential
- Valid TWIC Card
- Valid Engineering License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and physical
Physical requirements involve the ability to operate machinery, work in confined spaces, lift heavy weights, and work on wet surfaces.
Salary starts at $633 per day for Licensed Engineers.
