A leading aerospace and industrial manufacturing company is looking to add an EHS Engineer to support operations at its Coxsackie, NY, facility. This person will be responsible for managing environmental compliance and supporting the EHS program across manufacturing operations.
The Role
- Manage safety programs and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Support incident investigations, corrective actions, risk assessments, and EHS program implementation.
- Lead safety training, inspections, audits, and industrial hygiene testing activities.
- Prepare environmental reports, maintain required records, and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
The Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably supporting multiple facilities.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, air permitting, wastewater compliance, and occupational safety requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
