Electrical I&C Engineer

Constellation Energy seeks an Electrical I&C Engineer to support design, modification, and reliability of instrumentation and electrical control systems for energy generation assets. You will develop and review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications; support system upgrades and digital controls; and ensure compliance with industry codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The role includes troubleshooting plant I&C issues, supporting outages, coordinating with operations and maintenance teams, and working with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Design and review instrumentation and electrical control system modifications for generation assets
• Develop engineering calculations, drawings, and technical specifications
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Troubleshoot I&C and electrical control system issues to support safe, reliable operations
• Support plant outages, testing, and commissioning of new or modified systems
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and project teams on implementation of upgrades
• Interface with external vendors and contractors for I&C and electrical equipment and services
• Contribute to reliability, efficiency, and sustainability initiatives across the fleet
