HARDESTY&HANOVER seeks a Transportation Engineer to join our Engineering & Design team in the Engineering & Architecture industry. You will plan, design, and optimize transportation infrastructure, applying advanced modeling tools and best practices to deliver safe, efficient mobility solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll support all project phases-from feasibility studies to detailed design and client presentations-while contributing to an innovative, learning-focused culture that values bold ideas and exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and analyze transportation infrastructure projects
- Prepare roadway, intersection, and multimodal design plans
- Perform traffic analysis and modeling using industry tools
- Apply AASHTO, MUTCD, and local design standards
- Coordinate with architects, planners, and other engineers
- Develop technical reports, design documentation, and presentations
- Support permitting, bidding, and construction-phase services
- Contribute to innovation, best practices, and quality improvement
