Job Summary
Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong HVAC design experience, particularly in residential building projects. Responsible for developing HVAC designs from load calculations through filing and construction while meeting applicable building codes and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities- Develop HVAC designs and construction documents for residential building projects.
- Prepare HVAC drawings, layouts, calculations, and filing documentation.
- Coordinate HVAC systems with architectural and other building systems.
- Review designs and documentation for accuracy, constructability, and code compliance.
- Support projects through the filing and construction process.
- Mechanical Engineering background with relevant HVAC design experience.
- Residential building HVAC design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience with HAP, TRACE load calculation software.
- Strong knowledge of duct pressure and ventilation calculations.
- Experience taking HVAC designs from load calculations through filing/construction.
- Experience with VRF, split systems, PTAC, and DOAS.
- Familiarity with current NYC codes.
