Location: West Henrietta

Rochester Precision Optics LLC seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead complex optical manufacturing programs from concept through full-scale production. You will integrate optics, mechanics, and electronics while coordinating engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams. Responsibilities include building detailed schedules and budgets, managing risks, driving design and phase-gate reviews, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. In our collaborative, innovation-focused culture, you'll help shape advanced imaging, aerospace, defense, and medical solutions using cutting-edge tools and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of complex optical and electro-mechanical programs from concept through production release
  • Develop and manage detailed program plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality
  • Translate customer and business requirements into clear, actionable program milestones
  • Monitor progress, manage scope changes, and drive issue resolution to maintain schedule and cost targets
  • Facilitate technical reviews, design gates, and phase transitions in partnership with engineering leads
  • Communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program execution and manufacturing performance
  • Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards
  • Leverage data and KPIs to improve forecasting, resource planning, and decision-making
