Certerra Instrumentation and Monitoring, a rapidly growing engineering services firm specializing in geotechnical and structural monitoring, is seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Engineering Project Analyst to join our team at our Ozone Park, NY headquarters. This is an exciting opportunity to support critical infrastructure projects through advanced instrumentation and data review.
Responsibilities:- Analyze and validate structural and geotechnical monitoring data from various instrumentation systems (vibration, displacement, strain, etc.).
- Develop professional monitoring reports in accordance with project specifications and engineering standards.
- Assist in the modification and improvement of monitoring plans based on field data and client feedback.
- Work closely with project engineers and field technicians to ensure accurate and timely data processing.
- Interface directly with clients to communicate findings, answer questions, and support decision‑making.
- Maintain organized databases of monitoring data and support QA/QC procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis tools; experience with data visualization software is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Previous experience in construction, environmental monitoring, or engineering support roles is a plus.
