Site​/Civil Project Engineer

Azar Design Co, a multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, surveying, environmental, and construction management firm with over 45 years of experience, is seeking qualified Civil Engineer with 5+ years of relevant experience to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, including parks & green space, waterfronts, campuses & universities, stormwater/green infrastructure, urban public spaces, utility, and transportation infrastructure. Candidates will play a role in all phases of projects from design concepts through construction administration.

• Perform design work for civil engineering projects that may involve site design, grading and drainage, road/pavement design, stormwater management, utility design (sanitary sewer and water), and erosion & sediment control.
• Duties may include design of conceptual layouts and construction drawings as well as specifications, reports, cost estimates, SWPPPs & stormwater calculations, and water/sewer design.
• Provide construction administration services, including submittal review, RFI responses, site visits, and quality control.
• Collaborate with diverse teams of architects, engineers, landscape architects, environmental scientists, and surveyors to bring projects to life.

• Degree in civil or environmental engineering, landscape architecture, or similar.
• 5+ years of relevant civil engineering work experience.
• EIT preferred.
• Technical expertise:
  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in AutoCAD, Civil3D, or Micro Station.
• Teamwork and communication:
  Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
