- Work on challenging, real-world aerospace systems and defense problems for commercial and military applications
- Support aerospace systems through their service life
- Gain exposure to engineering work ranging from design and analysis to hands-on aerospace systems work
- Contribute to engine controls, navigation and guidance systems, gas turbine engine components, electrical power systems, mechanical systems, vehicle health and data management systems, mission systems, computing systems, and platform systems integration
- Perform design, analysis, development, and testing
- Write software requirements
- Conduct software testing and simulation
- Develop tools
- Provide product and program support
- Build relationships with interns, co‑ops, and leaders
- Prepare for potential full‑time leadership program or direct‑hire opportunities after graduation
- US Citizenship is required
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale without rounding
- Full-time matriculation in a nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate engineering program
- Accepted degrees:
Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science - Willingness and ability to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation, as many sites lack public transportation
- Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen
- Strong commitment to a technology career and passion for engineering
- Strong knowledge of computers and Microsoft products
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
- Ability to prove U.S. Person status for access to U.S. export-controlled information
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Demonstrates expertise in aerospace systems design, analysis, and development, with a strong foundation in programming and software testing. Capable of contributing to various aerospace applications while maintaining compliance with U.S. regulations.
