Key Responsibilities
  • Installation & Setup:
  • - Install, calibrate, and commission engineering equipment and systems on project sites.
  • - Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
  • - Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on-site equipment to minimize downtime.
  • - Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues promptly.
  • Technical Support & Client Interaction:
  • - Provide on-site training and guidance to clients and site personnel regarding equipment usage.
  • - Serve as the point of contact for technical inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • - Maintain detailed service reports, including work performed, issues encountered, and resolutions.
  • - Document and escal
  • Compliance & Safety:
  • - Adhere to company, client, and regulatory safety standards while working on-site.
  • - Identify and mitigate risks during installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Collaboration:
  • - Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other engineers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • - Assist the design and engineering teams with feedback from on-site conditions for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • - Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (or related field).
  • - 3+ years of experience in field service engineering, preferably in industrial or infrastructure projects.
  • - Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
  • - Experience using diagnostic tools and software for monitoring system performance.
  • - Strong technical documentation skills and familiarity with project management tools.
  • - Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
  • - Ability to work independently and thrive in dynamic field environments.
  • - Willingness to travel extensively and work on various project sites.
  • - Valid drivers license is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • - Professional Engineer (PE) or EIT certification.
  • - Experience with PLC systems, SCADA, and control systems.
  • - Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
  • - Previous experience working on infrastructure, energy, or municipal projects.
Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $30.00 - $52.00/hr plus eligibility for bonus and benefits.
