CAD Technician Modeler

CAD Technician / ModelerSTV currently has an opening in our PA/NJ office for a CAD Technician/Modeler to perform highway and bridge-related drawing and model development tasks on large-scale transportation projects. The position will utilize Bentley tools and in accordance with CAD standards, client design standards, and presentation requirements.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and develop construction package drawings and models using established CAD/BIM standards and client requirements.

Develop plans, details, sections, and other transportation-related deliverables.

Work with project teams to coordinate CAD/BIM information across multiple disciplines.

Troubleshoot modeling and drawing issues and resolve problems with minimal supervision.

Manage multiple projects and priorities while working within aggressive project schedules.

Follow client-specific standards, workflows, and software work spaces.

Required Experience:

Associate’s degree in Drafting & Design or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 5 years of transportation drafting/modeling experience, preferably with Metropolitan Transportation Agencies.

Strong proficiency with Micro Station, Bentley Modeler, Revit, plan and detail development, presentation, and CAD/BIM standards.

Ability to work independently, solve problems, and carry responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under aggressive deadlines.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Familiarity with different software work spaces and project-specific CAD/BIM environments.

Preferred Experience:

Microstation Bentley Open Buildings Open Bridge Open Rail Experience  working on MTA or other major transportation agency projects

Compensation Range:$66,320.00 - $75,364.00
