Environmental Remediation Scientist / Project Manager - NYC
Growing environmental consulting firm is seeking an Environmental Remediation Scientist / Project Manager for its NYC office. This is a great opportunity for an experienced environmental professional with strong Phase I/II ESA, site investigation, remediation, and project management experience.
Responsibilities- Manage environmental remediation and site investigation projects
- Perform and oversee Phase I/II ESAs, sampling, subsurface investigations, and remediation activities
- Prepare technical reports, work plans, and regulatory documentation
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, agencies, and subcontractors
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff
- 5+ years of environmental consulting/remediation experience
- Strong Phase I/II ESA and subsurface investigation experience
- Experience with NY environmental regulations and regulatory agencies preferred
- Strong technical writing and project management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field
- NYC-area experience preferred
Hybrid schedule: 2 days remote / 3 days in the NYC office.
