Buro Happold’s Analytics service is a unique data driven and people centered capability that empowers clients to optimise the design and operations of their facilities. We combine the power of interactive data analytics, predictive modeling and real-time optioneering to maximise outcomes such as space utilisation, operational efficiency and visitor experience.
Your key duties- Use computational design tools to solve complex inter-connected design problems
- Assist with the development of new tools to optimise our work
- Undertake various environmental modelling analyses, including thermal comfort and day lighting
- Pioneer ideas and showcase industry-leading consulting expertise to prominent clients and collaborators
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or design
- Knowledge of building physics and passive design
- Coursework in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- Experience using Rhino, Grasshopper, Ansys, STAR-CCM+, Open Foam beneficial
- Interest in analytics and design
- Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible manner
- Internship experience at engineering related firm preferred, and proven interest in the built environment

- Eagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Hourly rate of $24 to $34 per hour depending on level of education and geographic location
