SALARY GRADE: 2

PAY RATE: $17.96 HR./ $18.78 (DEPENDENT ON HIRE DATE)

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES

Under the direction of the –Cage Manager
- Video Gaming Operations, the Count Room Supervisor
- Video Gaming Operations is responsible for the overall operation of the count room.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the training of the count room personnel.

Ensure that all internal controls, regulations and procedures are communicated to all personnel and followed with no exception.

Reconcile all monies and/or vouchers received with reports generated by the system.

Reconcile the amount of monies counted by the Cummins counting machine with the amount counted by the table top machines and/or manual count.

Advise the Main Bank Supervisor
- Video Gaming Operations of the required requisition of all supplies and equipment necessary to operate the money room and its functions.

Assist in the preparation of all reports required of the count room and ensure total compliance.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND TRAINING

Strong supervisory skills and the ability to implement and enforce strict money handling procedures.

ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma or GED, plus two (2) years of experience in cash reconciliation or cash handling.

Must be approved for and maintain a valid Video Lottery Gaming Key Employee license issued by the New York State Gaming Commission.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is an active role with prolonged periods of standing. This position requires the ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 20 pounds at a time and bend, crawl or stand as necessary. The person in this position must be able to talk and hear in order to ensure proper communication.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be available to work nights, weekends, and on holidays.
