COUNT ROOM ATTENDANT – VIDEO GAMING OPERATIONS

SALARY: $17.39/HR

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES

Under the direction of the Count Room Supervisor – Video Gaming Operations, the Count Room Attendant
- Video Gaming Operations is responsible for the counting and logging of all monies and vouchers received in the count room.

• Receive monies from drop crew personnel and acknowledge receipt of cash boxes.
• Remove money and vouchers from containers and prepare same for physical count.
• Record count via designated reconciliation forms and perform cursory review of currency.
• Bundle currency and vouchers and assist in the reconciliation of same.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Ability to properly operate count room equipment. Strong cash handling skills.

A high school diploma or GED, plus prior cash handling experience.

Must be approved for and maintain a valid Video Lottery Gaming Non-Key Employee license issued by the New York State Gaming Commission.

This is an active role with prolonged periods of standing. This position requires the ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 20 pounds at a time and bend, crawl or stand as necessary. The person in this position must be able to talk and hear in order to ensure proper communication.

Must be available to work nights, weekends, and on holidays.
