Tour Operations Manager, Amazon Music Merch

Our team is looking for a driven, strategic, customer‑focused business leader with proven experience in event merchandise operations to help optimize the end‑to‑end processes and systems used to sell merchandise in‑person and online via Amazon supply chain systems.
BasePay Range
$66,000/yr – $141,100/yr
Key Job Responsibilities- Act as a ‘business owner’ for assigned artist/vendor partners, owning forecasting, monitoring, and reporting on the business to achieve live music merchandise business objectives.
- Assist with the development of product lines with production, vendor managers, merch companies, and artist teams.
- Oversee merchandise logistics, from production to point of sale.
- Forecast and inventory manage events and business lines.
- Facilitate negotiations with external vendors to meet profitability goals.
- Vet on‑site capabilities and onboard new systems and processes for operators.
- Hire, manage, and monitor independent contractors.
- Monitor shipping and logistics, optimizing in‑stock and capacity to meet customer demand and financial goals across multiple systems.
- Onboard venues for post‑event billing and operational systems.
- Innovate in‑venue experience for artists and fans.
- 3+ years of experience with Excel.
- 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
- 5+ years as an apparel / merch tour manager.
- 3+ years experience hiring and managing independent contractors inclusive of shipping / logistics partners.
- Must be willing to travel up to 25%.
- Willing and able to lift boxes 35‑50 lbs.
- Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control.
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing them to drive performance and process improvements.
- Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development.
- Experience with in the music merchandise industry or other entertainment industries such as theater, sports and touring production companies.
