About the Role:

The Game Room Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and well-maintained environment for all guests within the game room facility. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the game room, including monitoring equipment functionality, assisting guests with game instructions, and maintaining cleanliness and order. The attendant acts as the primary point of contact for guests, providing excellent customer service and promptly addressing any issues or concerns.

Additionally, the role involves routine inspection and minor maintenance of gaming machines to ensure optimal performance. Ultimately, the Game Room Attendant contributes to creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive guest experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles.
  • Familiarity with common arcade or game room machines and their maintenance.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for electronic equipment.
  • Experience working in a recreational or entertainment facility.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the game room area throughout operating hours.
  • Assist guests by explaining game rules, operating machines, and providing general information about the facility.
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on gaming equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Manage inventory of game tokens, cards, or other related supplies and report any shortages or malfunctions to management.
  • Enforce facility rules and safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for all patrons.
  • Collaborate with team members and management to improve guest experience and operational efficiency.
