Position Summary

The Overnight Events Operations Manager oversees all overnight event operations to ensure a seamless, safe, and high‑quality guest experience. This role leads overnight teams, manages event logistics, and upholds operational standards while maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction, service delivery, and staff performance.

Key Responsibilities Operations Management
  • Oversee all overnight event activities from setup through breakdown
  • Ensure events meet client expectations, timelines, and company standards
  • Monitor guest flow, staffing levels, and operational efficiency in real time
  • Troubleshoot operational issues quickly and professionally
  • Lead and oversee the overnight support staff
  • Conduct pre‑shift briefings and post‑event debriefs
  • Ensure proper staffing levels and deployment based on event requirements
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and inclusive team culture
Client & Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the primary overnight point of contact for clients and internal partners
  • Communicate effectively with event planners, security, facilities, and vendors
  • Address and resolve client concerns promptly
Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and emergency procedures
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and labor regulations
  • Monitor incident reports and elevate issues as needed
Logistics & Coordination
  • Oversee event setup, equipment use, and breakdown (tables, chairs, linens, etc.)
  • Coordinate with facilities, cleaning, and security teams
  • Ensure all spaces are properly prepared and restored post‑event
Reporting & Documentation
  • Complete nightly reports including staffing, incidents, and event outcomes
  • Document any performance concerns
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement
Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of experience in event operations, hospitality, or venue management
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in large‑scale venues, attractions, or corporate event settings
  • Knowledge of scheduling and labor‑compliance best practices
  • Bilingual skills a plus
  • Ability to lift, stand for long periods, bend, push, and pull
Pay Range

$34 - $36 USD
