Position Overview

Join our team as a Music Central Assistant! This role centers on the administrative aspects of booking and music touring, providing you with a foundation in a top booking agency and a pathway toward becoming a Music Agent.

Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming calls, coordinate meetings, and act as key contact point to ensure seamless team communication.
  • Provide critical support to Music Agents and Assistants by managing essential tasks that keep the department running smoothly.
  • Enter data meticulously into booking systems, maintaining clarity and precision that aids informed decision‑making.
  • Review and verify show contracts to ensure compliance with industry agreements.
  • Provide desk coverage for absent Music Assistants and manage overflow tasks to keep day‑to‑day operations seamless.
  • Assist with Music department initiatives, gaining exposure to various functions within the agency.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to presentations, building relationships and fostering a team‑oriented culture.
  • Keep up with trends and best practices to support the Music department’s strategic goals effectively.

  • Prior experience in live music booking, event planning, or similar roles that align with this position’s demands.

Compensation

Hiring Rate Minimum: $21.00 hourly (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum wage thresholds)
Hiring Rate Maximum: $21.00 hourly
