Events Volunteer - Classical Orchestra
WHCO is gearing up for our very cute and sweet "Storytime with the Symphony" series for families with young children ages 0-5, which is held at:
Recirculation Books
876 Riverside Drive (160th St.) Washington Heights, NYC 10032
We need about 4-5 volunteers for tasks including:
- Baby bouncer - seating near the performance area, ensuring little kids don't get too close to our instruments, and handing out little shakers during the dance party. (2 people)
- Door greeter - welcoming people to the space, answering questions, bidding them farewell, basically making people feel seen and welcomed! (1-2 people)
- Ticket table - checking people in, selling tickets and merch. (1-2 people)
Time: 3:15 pm-5:00 pm (possibly ending slightly earlier)
